today began early. it’s the first day of five early days in a row for me. a much dreaded start. I did do my morning run, yay me. did my morning routine and off to work. work was difficult today. a lot of frustration and communication issues. it’s been an emotional challenge which really makes going into work not something I look forward to. I’m very frustrated with the challenge that’s being presented to me, but know I have to go through it and learn to continue.

school was boring today, though we finally got our iPads, which is exciting, but now means we have homework. it was a theory day in class which meant my eyes glued to a screen for most of it. we did an activity that required us to get into two teams and write down the most amount of household cleaning items, including hygiene products, that we could. everyone in my group dropped their normal cleaning products one by one until it was my turn. now here my hippy ass comes in and starts dropping things like castile soap, baking soda, charcoal. the way everyone looked at me was priceless. after writing everything down that we could, one team named all theirs and if the other team had the same thing written down, it was to be crossed out. after both teams did their part, we counted up the items that were not overlapping. my team one 20 to 7. I DIED laughing like yeah who’s weird now?!

the last hour, we played a jeopardy type game. we all had a really hard time, though I’m pretty sure there were questions in there from future chapters we haven’t been through yet. most of us were very confused. we got through it and most of us planned on going over the whole chapter again because of how poorly we did.

after school, I did some research on the information in that chapter which was lacking in comparison to the questions we were given in the previous game. I do feel much better about the amount of knowledge I have now and am much more confidence in my ability to successfully test. taking down time now, watching a movie called the kitchen. absolutely worth the watch. highly recommend, it’s on netflix. also, I do know I said I wouldn’t get any more plants, HOWEVER.. I did get another pup.. okay but hear me out, it’s going to grow up to be a STUNNING plant.

HOW can you turn down a ridiculously cheap pup for a plant that turns out like this? I’m going to have so many alocasia.. I am really excited about it though. she’s a cute lil baby. I’m going to love her so hard and her name is going to be cheese. I start getting my plants in on thursday!

back to rest now, and remembering I’m just a small thing in this big world.
