I’m a few days behind, however, there’s not much to report over that time. work like normal, no school the back end of the week. it was nice but didn’t much feel like a break. back to school again tomorrow. thankfully it’ll be my sleep in day. much needed but honestly just strongly desire the time to lay down, be off, and be in my own space. today was a good day, yesterday was too. yesterday, work in the morning, then had my evening “off” aka homework. we’ve begun the chapter on anatomy and physiology. science is not particularly my strong suit but it’s mostly just learning vocab, or I guess that’s what I think, considering we’re going over so many of the bones, nerves, and systems of the body. there should be no reason we’d get tested on those individual muscles, etc. that’s more in depth than we need. it’s cool to learn more a&p and relate it to the field.

I went out last night with the girl, which was a lot of fun, until I got bored. I wish we could have stayed longer but not only was I bored, but exhausted, had to get up for work, and she had a headache. lots of gays though which made the vibes great. also, she looked FANTASTIC. and like yes, that is my thought, but damn near everybody in the bar was looking at her when she passed by or from across the room. eyes were on her all night. it’s cool to watch people gawk at the woman you’re walking around with. I know she’s beautiful, but seeing everybody else see that beauty and knowing I get to be the one with her is absolutely golden. we had fun though, it was hot as hell in there. I’m enjoying seeing her but I know I’m clear where I stand in the “this is not just sex, but it’s also not going to be a relationship” thing; she’s on the same page.

worked today which went well. it actually went specifically well because an old friend of mine was in town with her brother and their significant others. I don’t know how we always end up following each other but we met in CA, both moved to UT one after the other, and now that I’m here, she’s moving here too! completely unrelated and neither of us knew where the other was. it was so nice to see them though. I missed her lots. we’re definitely connected spiritually and the universe really keeps throwing us back together. finally got to meet her little family and her brother who just proposed to his girlfriend! I bought them bottomless mimosas which were enjoyed. today though, I had two regulars loosely schedule appointments with me for the barber shop! super rad to have people I know coming in for me to cut their hair, but the practice will be SO nice. I’m really glad they both decided on me to be their barber for this round. homework when I got home, but I put it down a few hours in to rest for the evening. it is nice to choose when I complete my tasks throughout the week, but I also know how easy it is to put it down and not do it. hopefully my scheduling is correct and I have time to work through the chapter, the homework, study, and then test by thursday. another week upcoming in my big world, stay tuned.
