regular day, not much to report. I wouldn’t consider most of today exciting if anything was. work was early this morning. I have been sticking to my morning routine thankfully and adding that bit of running on my early days. I find no joy or success in completing running. I honestly have no desire and with that, not much positive outcome, regardless of progress. in general, I’ve found I’m quite apathetic to the world around me. I do try really hard not to act like it though. I think the world around me deserves more.

work was slow but I did get some good latte art out. otherwise, nothing too exciting or important.

school was easy and relatively quick. we did get to see some demonstration on cutting with the direction the hair wants to go. I am ready to be more hands on. I’ve been speeding through these first few chapters so I’m hoping this upcoming chapter on infection control will slow me down a bit with heftier information content.

post work, normal routine. I was supposed to go out with someone new but that didn’t end up working out, which honestly was perfectly fine cause I did not want to leave the house again. fig newtons are my snack of choice this evening while I write to you, cause I’m sure you were wondering. we’ll see what tomorrow brings but otherwise, we cut hair next week and I go to omaha for my 10 year reunion.

it might be boring now but my big world is about to get shaken up.
